What we do
Four ways we back Indian-origin enterprise.
Connect businesses
We connect Indian-origin business owners, operators and entrepreneurs across Melbourne, building networks that create real opportunities for collaboration.
Join the network →Support enterprise
We support Indian-origin enterprise through roundtables, resources and guidance that help businesses start, operate and grow.
See our programs →Activate Melbourne
We advocate for a trader-informed Little India in Docklands, with meaningful and ongoing participation by local businesses and community stakeholders.
Explore Little India →Strengthen representation
We give Indian-origin businesses a stronger, unified voice with the City and other levels of government on issues that affect them.
About LITA →Deliver
Little India.
A $10 million commitment to a Little India precinct was made during the 2024 City of Melbourne election campaign and has subsequently been taken forward by the City. LITA is an independent, member-led trader voice advocating for a published delivery plan, meaningful infrastructure and genuine trader participation.
