Accessibility Statement
LITA is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disability. This statement explains our commitment, current support, and how to report a problem.

Our commitment
LITA aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, as the minimum conformance target for this website.
What we’re doing
This includes designing the site so that:
- all functionality is available using a keyboard alone, with a logical focus order;
- a visible skip-to-content link lets keyboard users jump straight past repeated navigation;
- interactive elements have a clearly visible focus indicator;
- pages use semantic structure, including headings, landmarks and labels, to support screen readers; and
- colour is never the only way we show important information, such as an active navigation link or an error state.
Ongoing work
This website is under active development. Several pages are being rebuilt and reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA as part of this work, and not every page may fully meet the standard yet. We treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off task, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you find a page, form or feature on this site that is difficult to use with a keyboard, screen reader or other assistive technology, please tell us. Email info@lita.net.au with the page you were on and a description of the problem, and we will work to address it.
Alternative access
If you are unable to access information or a service on this site because of a disability, contact us and we will do our best to provide it in a way that works for you.
