Advocacy & Submissions

LITA engages with government on matters relevant to its members and the Little India precinct. Its primary local-government focus is the City of Melbourne, supplemented by state and federal advocacy where an issue materially affects Indian-origin businesses or community participation.

Where we engage

LITA’s advocacy is led by the City of Melbourne and the Little India precinct, supplemented by state and federal engagement on issues relevant to members.
