On 27 May 2025, LITA representatives met the City of Melbourne at Melbourne Town Hall to discuss the developing Little India precinct in Docklands.

The discussion covered the precinct's development and the role of trader and community input as the City's plans progress. LITA continues to advocate for a transparent and ongoing mechanism through which traders and community stakeholders can participate meaningfully in precinct planning and delivery.

LITA is an independent traders association. It is not a City of Melbourne committee, and consultation does not imply any formal role in the City's project.
